Code Zero Furler NS Furling Gear 5.0 is designed to handle sails with a “stretched” luff like Staysails, Code Zero and Code 1, Drifter, sailing catamaran Screecher, cruising asymmetric Spinnaker or Gennaker etc. For a large asymmetrical spinnakers with a “soft” luff you need to use the Top-Down furling system.

Spinnaker furler NS5.0 is an analogue to following furlers: Selden CX45, Harken Reflex Unit 3, Ronstan Series 200, Facnor FX+ 4500, Karver KF4.5, Profurl Nex 4.
Basic NS5 furler set includes the drum and upper swivel. Ropes not included. We are providing a ready to use 10-12mm continuous control line separately. For your convenience we are preparing ready-to-use kits of furling equipment to reliably hoist asymmetric spinnaker or gennaker of any type. For each set there are optional accessories available to improve your furling experience.
NS5.0 furling system is appropriate for:
- any sails with the luff that may be stretched in line from head to tack;
- sail area approx. 140 sq.m | 1’510 sq.ft or less;
- control line diameter up to 12 mm | 1/2″;
- thimbles 23 mm | 7/8″ thick with a pin hole of 14 mm | 9/16″;
- attaching with a 12 mm | 1/2″ shackle;
- working load of 5’000 kg / 11’020 lbs;
- boats up to 55 feet.
NS Furling Gear 5.0 Code Zero is a fitting choice for standard NS Code66 cruising reachers of 8-14 sizes.
